| Separators are used for degumming,
neutralizing and washing of oils where it separates gums and free fatty
acids. Veendeep supplies self cleaning centrifuges for large capacity
plants. |
| Vacuum dryers are used to remove residual
moisture from the oil after washing. Veendeep supplies vacuum dryer in
stainless steel fitted with nozzles for uniform oil spraying. |
| For uniform mixing of the bleaching earth
and oil , the Oil Earth Mixer is used. It comes with a stirrer and
operates under vacuum. Measured quantity of earth is added by means of
dozing system with timers, operated pneumatically. |
| The oil thoroughly mixed with earth in
the oil earth mixer is then transferred to the Bleacher. It is a 2 stage
vessel. In the first stage, Oil is heated to 100°C and in the
second stage, bleaching takes place. Veendeep supplies steam agitated
bleachers without any stirrers or mechanical parts, thus making it
energy efficient and maintenance free. |
| Pressure leaf filters are used for
separation of the bleaching earth from oil after the bleaching process.
PLF’s consist of vertical vessels with filter elements mounted
vertically on common outlet manifold through which oil flows out. For
bottom discharge of the spent earth Bolton butterfly valves with
pneumatic vibrators are used. |
| Deaerators are used to free the oil from
air trapped prior to Deordorisation. This cylindrical vessel with level
controls for uniform feeding of oil to deodoriser operates under vacuum. |
| Deodoriser is the heart of the refining.
Veendeep supplies Multi stage deodorizers. In the first stage, the oil
is heated to as high as 270° C for proper deodorising. Then the oil
flows to the second stage i.e stripping trays where the stripping and
deacidification in case of physical refining takes place. Then the oil
enters heat exchanger cum cooler stage where the oil is cooled under
vaccum and leaves the deodoriser at 100°C . |
